VRx: How Virtual Therapeutics will Revolutionize Medicine

VRx: How Virtual Therapeutics will Revolutionize Medicine When most people think of virtual reality (VR), they think of a gaming technology and big, funny-looking goggles. But VR is so much more than that. When used in the right way, at the right time, VR leverages our power to imagine when we need it the most and can help improve quality of life. VR has enabled a new field of medicine that the FDA now calls “Medical Extended Reality,” or “MXR” for short.

In this symposium from the Cedars-Sinai VR research team, we explore how virtual therapeutics are revolutionizing medicine and mark the release of VRx, the new book that tells the stories of medical VR. Meet some of the researchers and patients featured in VRx as they tell their first-person stories from the front-lines of immersive therapeutics.

This YouTube Premier event begins on October 6th at 9AM PDT/12PM EDT and will be available as a recording afterwards. During the premier event we will answer live questions; enter your questions into the comment box and members of our Cedars-Sinai research team will respond live.
