“If anyone thinks I’m going to sign up to any party before the election, before I get the chance to negotiate, they are absolutely kidding themselves,” Mr Katter said.
“We’ll be going to minor parties first, most likely putting One Nation at the top of our list.”
Katter’s Australia Party currently holds three seats out of Queensland’s 93, and is further targeting another 10-12 seats in the parliament.
“We’re just trying to win seats, we’re trying to get influence,” he said.
The Queensland election is on October 31.
