The first to notice their sudden change of character is the person closest to them. Their best friend may be used to hearing their sentiments and frustrations. But when the INFJ finally breaks, even to their close friends, spouse, and family members, they remain silent. They cannot even write their thoughts on a piece of paper. They find it difficult to wake up in the morning, and they simply cannot explain what's happening. They keep quiet until everything's going to be okay. They tend to bottle these confusions until they can already understand. They cannot explain to someone how they feel if they themselves are also confused about it. Some of their friends might think the INFJ is mad at them for not opening up anymore. This behavior is often misunderstood, and it makes it much harder for INFJ Types to cope up with their intrapersonal crises.
INFJ types cannot always understand themselves because they also get lost, confused, and distracted. Even though they are internally rich, they, too, are battling with intrapersonal conflicts. Despite being highly driven by their purpose, some situations hit them hard, causing them to fall. All they need is time and wisdom to recover from the impact.
