Need of Statistics and Measures of Central Tendency

From this video onwards, we have started learning of MEASURE phase in Six Sigma. To understand MEASURE phase of Six Sigma, we must know various statistical concepts.
As a part of it, I have started with “What actually Statistics is?” and “Why to learn Statistics?” I have answered these questions with practical examples for easy understanding.
Definitely, having a good understanding of statistics puts you in a strong position. You’re much better equipped to tell when statistics are inaccurate or misleading. I am sure, you might have experienced this in your practical life.
If you want to learn statistics in simpler way, you can refer a book “Head First Statistics” by “Dawn Griffiths”. I can say this is one of the best books in this category.
