We are thrilled to bring you the second performance of our series that features resident baritone Michael Parham, resident mezzo-soprano Jasmine Johnson, and collaborative pianist Joseph Williams. The program for the evening will include works by Robert Owens, Steve Wallace, Abel Meeropol (arranged by Joseph Williams), Gregory T.S. Walker, Jerrell R. Gray, Margaret Bonds, Florence Price, H. Leslie Adams, Maria Thompson Corley, and Shawn E. Okpebholo. Portland Opera offers our special thanks to the American Guild of Musical Artists (AGMA), as well as Stage Director Kristine McIntyre, Teaching Artist in Residence Daniel Mobbs, Lighting Designer Carl Faber, and titles by Susan McDaniel.
