Tens of thousands of protesters have taken to the streets across America again. Peaceful demonstrations Sunday against police killings of black people have been overshadowed by unrest that quickly ravaged parts of cities from Pennsylvania to California. A truck driver drove into demonstrators in Minneapolis nearly a week after George Floyd pleaded with an officer pressing a knee into his neck that he could not breathe. Protests sprang up from Boston to Los Angeles. Officials say protesters in Philadelphia hurled rocks and Molotov cocktails at police, while masked crowds broke into upscale stores in a San Francisco suburb and fled with bags of merchandise.
