George Floyd: Entire police unit quits to back officers who shoved elderly man

An entire tactical unit of a US police department has resigned in support of two officers who were filmed shoving a 75-year-old protester to the ground in Buffalo.

New York Governor Andrew Cuomo said the video made him feel "sick" and suggested criminal charges should be pursued.

It comes as Donald Trump faced backlash for describing a fall in US unemployment numbers as a "great day" for George Floyd.
