COVID-19: Malaysia eases movement restrictions; two family members can leave home for essentials Malaysia has eased some restrictions after more than a month into its COVID-19 lockdown. The strict measures came into effect on March 18, and has since been extended thrice. It is due to end on May 12. Now, two family members -- instead of just one -- can leave the house for essentials, and they can move beyond the 10-km radius from their homes.
