Gemmotherapy - The Medicine of Buds - 1

Gemmotherapy - The Medicine of Buds - 1 This video has multilanguage subtitles/captions. You can change them from the Settings icon in the low right corner.

The recipe of our Gemmotherapy Lilac remedy is:
- 1 part buds to 7 parts menstrum in weight units (grams) - a diluted product can be obtained in 1:20 proportion (1 part buds to 20 parts menstrum);
- menstrum is obtained from water, 94% alcohol, and glycerin (1/3 of each);
- the mixture (gemmos) is kept 20-28 days in a cool and dark place, agitating it once a day;
- filter and you have the final product - I recommend a coarse filtration with a stainless steel sieve and then a fine filtration with cheesecloth, a coffee filter or a piece of cotton cloth attached to the jar mouth. If you have access to a vacuum filtration device in a lab it is even better and faster.

The recipe can be used to obtain almost any gemmotherapy remedies from any therapeutic buds. The exceptions we will discuss in future videos.

The buds for a Gemmotherapy remedy should be harvested at the point where they are just starting to open. This time of the year is called the balsamic time. Each plant will have its own balsamic time, and even the opening of the buds will be different on the south side of the tree from the north side of the tree.
The timing for harvesting the buds to make the gemmos is very short....once they have opened too far, you have missed it for this year.
