The Academy, Algarve, a family school that cares about every single student. There is so much instability and uncertainty right now with Thursday’s announcement of school closures being extended.
My name is James Denton and I am the founder and Headmaster of The Academy, Algarve. I have been a teacher for over 20 years, delivering the British National Curriculum.
Parents have spoken to me. They told me that they know of friends and families who are struggling to home school their children at this time and asked me for some tips.
I can do better than that.
From Monday 20th April. I am going to provide FREE online lessons, regardless of the child's current school.
The lessons will be based around the British Curriculum.
As I do at The Academy, I will do my level best to provide authenticity, stability, and reassurance for parents.
The philosophy of The Academy is family, relationships and togetherness and at times like these, those three things are more important than anything else; incidentally, The Academy have delivered over 750 quality online lessons since March 16th.
On Friday 17th April at 10:00 I will host a webinar for interested parents.
On Monday 20th April. I will provide FREE online lessons.
