Coronal Holes are regions where the Sun's magnetic field peels back and allows solar wind to escape. Solar wind is emerging at speeds between 600 km/s and 700 km/s. When this fast-moving material reaches Earth two days from now, it will likely spark polar minor geomagnetic storms.
High-latitude sky-watchers should be alert for auroras.
Low solar activity
Region 2759 remained spotless, but active, producing low level flares over the last 24 hours. There were no Earth-directed CMEs observed in available coronagraph imagery.
