Please watch our third Fireside Chat from SAG-AFTRA Foundation President, Courtney B Vance, who gives an update to the COVID-19 Relief Fund ( As he explains, we’ve distributed over $1.7 million dollars in emergency aid to SAG-AFRA members in need nationwide, and we continue to raise funds at an encouraging pace. This is an encouraging start, but in order to do the most good, we must prioritize our members who are in crisis now.
If you’re able to wait two months to apply for Fund, please do so we won’t bottleneck the process. There are still several thousand applications in the pipeline, with at least 100 new applications every day. Your consideration of others will allow us to service the community in the most efficient way, and make sure those who need the most immediate help receive aid quickly.
